Corrections log, February 2020

Mistakes: They happen. When they do, we fix ’em.

Our February 3 item, “These corrupt fishing officials in Namibia and Iceland were taken down by journalism,” initially misidentified Namibia as Nigeria in the headline.

The February 25 article, “This remote Mexican village is arming children to fight violent drug traffickers,” misspelled the name of Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The February 28 article, “Let us count the ways this Oregon pipeline project has gone off the rails,” mistakenly reported that the proposed Jordan Cove liquid natural gas pipeline terminal also included a fracking facility.

We regret the errors and have corrected them.

We strive to be accountable, and will always carefully review and respond to any error reports, which can be submitted via our contact page.
